In this introductory course, you will learn about what is IEC 61499, why you should use it, how to use it, and what is its Eco-system (tools, PLC's, and its application domain). You will learn about various artifacts and the building blocks about the standard such as basic function blocks, composite function blocks, service interface function blocks, etc.
We will also look at different standard requirements and what they mean and how to use them. This is one course that will give you a complete overview of the standard and its eco-system.
